Maybe its time we take the badges and radios away from TSA agents (inappropriately called "officers"). I am astounded to see them march to their inspection station at my local airport with radio headsets and radios hitched on their duty belts bright gold badges on their chests. They are not law enforcement and should not have badges. They should not think they have the authority to do anything other than inspect carry on bags for dangerous objects. No book, T-shirt, roll of money, or collection of sex toys should raise an alarm that prevents anyone from getting on an airplane.

I found this audio file to be very disturbing and so should every citizen. Requiring a passenger to answer questions about innocuous objects, detaining and/or threatening them for not answering questions is a grave overstep of the mandate to inspect baggage. It is a clarion call to those who care for liberty to raise the alarm and put an end to a grave infringement of our rights as Americans. Unless the TSA can prove it has actually done something to make us safer, it is an institution which is doing more harm than good. It should be abolished or at the very least reined in enough to prevent these types of activity.

A few years ago I had to clear out the sex toys of a guy who had passed as a part of cleaning out his apartment. One might have to wonder about letting someone with some of these items on a plane. A few of them were a bit spooky.
